Zen Jam’s first release is a collection of songs by the New York City-based band His Master’s Voice called “New York City 1982-1986.” The album compiles unreleased material, recorded in the mid-1980s. It should be ready for release in early 2025, and will be available for streaming, and for purchase on vinyl and as a digital download.

Publishing

Zen Jam holds and manages the publishing rights to a small catalog of music by the artists released on our label. The “Publishing” page is where you can hear some of their work. In addition to the music used in our recordings, we have examples of as-yet unreleased works in demo form. Follow this link for excerpts and details.

Artists

Here you’ll find information about the artists whose work is published and released by Zen Jam. His Master’s Voice and Cosmic Oven are two bands from the 1980s New York City scene whose output never saw the light of day. Mary Kelley (above) is a singer/songwriter with whom we have been producing new material as time allows.
