Design
After playing music in New York between 1982 and 1991, Zen Jam’s principal, Mark Abramson, relocated to Hawaii and started designing books and magazines for the travel industry. Mark moved to San Francisco in 1999, where he worked chiefly for Metallica, art directing their fanzine So What!. Additional clients included Motörhead and other Bay Area musicians and publishers. In 2017 he took a position as the Creative Director for San Francisco-based experimental music non-profit Other Minds. Mark still takes on select self-contained design projects, and you’re welcome to contact him about yours, but his main focus has shifted back to music production.
