The iPad app I developed for artist Henry Jackson has been approved by Apple, and is now available for download on the iPad App Store. The app is essentially a 21st Century update of an artist catalog, with high-rez imagery that one can pan around and zoom in to, audio clips and video. A navigation system and help system is also built in.

Similar iPad apps could be developed for other artists to showcase their work, or for art galleries to produce catalogs of specific shows or demonstration pieces of all the artists they represent. Or apps can be developed for museums to document an important show, or to catalog of all their holdings. In fact, apps could be developed for many different purposes for many different businesses. These apps can either augment or take the place of a printed brochure, catalog or other printed promotional piece. They are meant to be custom-built for each individual client, and then distributed by the client as they wish.

The Henry Jackson iPad app can be downloaded by following the link below to its iTunes web page, or just go to the App Store on your iPad and search for “Henry Jackson” to download it straight to your iPad. It’s free.
